I have been practicing chiropractic for 26 years and have a general practice which sees patients from very young children to into their 90's. I have had the good fortune of seeing generations of patient's and extended families. I have a special interst and advanced training in occupational health and treating repetitive strain injuries. I work with local area companies in helping them reduce workplace injuries.

Chiropractic is a natural, drug free form of healthcare, which optimizes the function of the central nervous system by removing interferences within the important communication between our bodies and our brains. Chiropractic adjustments maximize the bodies self healing capabilities by restoring this vital brain-body connection. Chiropractic allows your body to express its highest level of health and wellness without using either drugs or surgery.

Physiotherapy modalities are used to assist the chiropractic adjustments given by the doctor. They help foster blood and lymphatic supply, enhance nerve function, decrease muscle spasms, and help heal injuries to the discs and ligaments. Ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, interferential current, and hot and cold packs are a few of the modalities that we use. Low Level Laser therapy has been recently made available as well.

Nutrition and exercise are integral in maintaining a health lifestyle. We recommend the highest quality isotonic capable supplements to maximize your health potential. We prescribe both general and specific exercises geared to patients individual needs. Patients who take an active part in their health and well being get better results faster than patients who do not.

Custom made orthotics are recommended and fabricated if the patient's foot problems are either causing or interfering with their being able to hold or benefit from their adjustments. Foot problems are a common contributing factor in some patient's developing spinal problems. We assess the biomechanics of the foot to determine the need for orthotics.

Injury prevention programs Dr. Tate is a certified injury prevention trainer for Future Industrial Technologies which is a California based company. He works with local area businesses to help prevent and reduce workplace injuries through Backsafe and Sittingsafe programs.

Wellness is a term everyone is familiar with today. Human health depends on more than just the mere absence of disease. In order to be truly healthy, each aspect of your existence must be nourished, that means not only must we take care of our bodies through regular chiropractic care, nutrition and exercise, but also our minds and our spirits need to be well. Dr. Tate is dedicated to educating each patient and the public on the importance of this relationship and how powerful it truly is.
