Chiropractic Adjustment:
Adjustment involves placing patient in a specific set-up position. This is dependent upon the joint to be adjusted. Applied is the correct amount of force to the joint with use of hands. Quick short thrusts are applied to the joint. The thrust allows movement in the joint where a pop or clicking sound maybe heard. These adjustments have been demonstrated for pain relief, muscle relaxation and increased movement.

Other Therapies: Champissage, Reflexology, Reiki, Hypnotherapy
Champissage therapy is also known as Indian Head Massage. It massages the massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears and energy balancing.

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure by thumbs and fingers to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears in order to improve the recipient's health.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Hypnotherapy, The term "hypnosis" comes from the Greek word hypnos, meaning "sleep." Hypnotherapists use exercises that bring about deep relaxation and an altered state of consciousness, also known as a trance. A person in a deeply focused state is unusually responsive to an idea or image, but this does not mean that a hypnotist can control the person's mind and free will. On the contrary, hypnosis can actually teach people how to master their own states of awareness. By doing so they can affect their own bodily functions and psychological responses.
